About Me

I started Kate Murphy Beauty Therapy for a number of reasons. Firstly, I wanted to work for myself, to create something I could manage and maintain to a high standard. Secondly, I had many experiences where I would go for a treatment and feel that I was being talked at, sold to, or just not thought about at all.

I wanted to create a space where clients can come and relax, confident in the knowledge that treatments are carried out to the highest standard.

I Qualified in both CIBTAC and ITEC in 2003, I was thrilled to win an award for outstanding results at my graduation. I began my career in Kilkenny city, training with wonderful products such as Elemis, Nimue and St. Tropez, the experience was comprehensive and invaluable, it certainly set the tone for me going forward. I like to keep up to date with industry developments and attend courses regularly, with MAC trained professionals, Wexford LEO, Creative Academy for nails, Novalash and NSI for eyelash courses.
